I drove towards a speed camera yesterday doing about 45 in a 30, I got flashed once as I approached the speed camera on the other side of the road, there were no other cars around, and there were the white lines on the road under my car, can speed cameras get you if you are on the opposite side of the road but driving towards them? It was one of those old style yellow box ones.

blueoval you are wrong and to back up what other people were saying.... yes you can flashed by speeding on the oncoming lane but due to the fact that there are no white dashs on the road... people at the HQ where the pictures get processed cannot prosecute you for speeding because they cannot calculate your speed without the white dashes on the road.

We all know that if you get flashed for speeding then you must recieve at NIP within 14 days and EXACTLY 14 days ago today I was flashed on my side of the road by a camera which was designed for my side of the road BUT I did not get prosecuted or a NIP because they had just recently repaved that road and there were no white dashes on the road to calculate my speed... that why you do not get prosecuted for being caught speeding on the oncoming side of the road.

AND WHENEVER SOMEONE ON AB POSTS A QUESTION ABOUT SPEEDING WHY DOES EVERYONE ASK "WHY WERE YOU SPEEDING IN THE FIRST PLACE". ARE ALL YOU PEOPLE TRYING TO TELL ME YOU ALL DRIVE AROUND AT 30 AND NEVER EXCEED IT. DUMB ***** IF SOMEONE GOT CAUGHT SPEEDING THEN IT WAS BECAUSE THEY WERE UNAWARE OF THE CAMERA BEING THERE MOST LIKELY.
