Car Mats

My daughter has ordered a new Mazda 2 , 1.5 SE.L NAV Automatic, can anyone please tell me if the car mats would be different for an auto than for a manual. I wanted to get her some as a surprise.

I would be most surprised if they were. The auto selector quadrant and manual gear stick shouldn’t have much proximity to a floor mat to make a difference and mats are tailored to go under the pedals be it two or three.

Most new cars come with very nice mats already fitted. Check with the Mazda dealer before splashing out on aftermarket kit.

We bought a new auto Mazda 2 and it came with car mats front and rear.

^^my new car (not Mazda) also came with front and rear mats fitted over the fitted carpet, which I wasn't expecting.
Perhaps you could get a set of tailored rubber mats instead...she could use these over winter to prevent too much rain/snow/salt soaking into the mats/carpets....(I have a "thing" about dirty wet shoes inside the car!). Perhaps just me?
