i am thinking of installing a sub in my car. what do i need to do to ensure i have good bass but at the same time ensure the reliabity and performance of my car are not compremised e.g. battery problems and dimmed lights?

OK!!For good bass,get yourself 2 12" Pioneer 1000w DVC's and connect them to a 2000w monoblock.


This will do nothing to the performance of your car!Just be sure to iddle your car when u pump it up!!!!Unless u want a dead battery.
