Tyre Slightly Perished
I have an old fiesta 56 model and just had mot and service. Nearside front tyre slightly perished. This was locked up last mot but was an advisory and the garage said it would probably be ok till next mot which it has had this week. They didn't mention the tyre so I asked and they said it's slightly perished but it's ok. Take it back to be checked in a couple of months. Sorry this is a bit long winded but is it safe or should it be changed now

Assuming that your car has got the original wheels, it will need a 175/65-14 tyre. Formula One Autocentres can supply and fit a budget tyre for just £32

although I'd prefer to pay a bit more for a tyre with a better specification. (I paid £48 per tyre for a couple of really good spec tyres for my Saab from F1 recently. Note that you need to order online to get the best prices there).
The other place that I buy tyres from is Asda Tyres. (You order online and book a free fitting with a local firm at the same time). They can sometimes be a little bit cheaper than F1 (even when you get the tyres fitted at F1 anyway):
