I drive a '51 plate Corsa SXI and have started to have problems getting the screenwash out of the bottle. I've checked the bottle and it is very nearly full but it won't come out to clean the windscreen or the rear windscreen. Any suggestions?

Most obvious point would be that the washer jets are frozen what with the weather we are having at the moment.... or could also be buildup of gunk in washer jet nozzles, try poking them with a needle to clean them out.

Thirdly....when you press the windscreen was button do you hear the pump running? If not, it may have failed.

Coobeastie has got it right. I would just add that the 'gunk' he mentions originates from the washer bottle, which should be emptied and flushed out with fresh water. The bottle is easy to remove and replace, which is the most effective way. Likewise, the pump is easy and cheap to replace if it has failed. Personally, I would use a piece of fine fuse wire to clean the washer jets - it goes in further (!)
I forgot to say that there is usually a small plastic filter on the end of the plastic pipe under the filler cap. This can sometimes be clogged. Pull it off the tube to clean it then push back into place.
