Problems Linking New Iphone To Evoque

I have a RR Evoque and had it linked to my previous iphone 6. However I recently got an iphone 12 and cant get it to connect. I have followed the guidance as far as i can see and Ive tried both getting the car to find the phone and the phone to find the car but it isn't working.
Anyone got any ideas what the issue might be?

Buenchico - I rolled my eyes when I read your link. I was thinking "omg he has just given me the 'old turn-it-off-and-back-on-again' advice".
But I did it . . .and it worked! lol That'll teach me haha!
It isn't finding my phonebook etc yet but at least it recognises the phone so that's a good start.

On your phone once it is paired with the car you will be asked to allow access to your phones contacts data etc. Make sure all the boxes are ticked. On my phone all the boxes weren't displayed and I had to scroll down the list to see them all.

Couldn't you get your butler to do it?

davebro - I had to furlough the butler. I asked my chef but he says its not in his job description. I'm gonna try my chauffeur next. Thanks for the advice.

pauln90 - thanks for the tip. I went back out and tried it again today and it seems to be working ok.
