There’s Some Chancers Around !
My 17.5 year old grandson paid £3000 cash for a car just to get him to his test , it was bought as seen although things had started to go awry likd the electrics ,the radio was intermittent, he’d already decided he would sell it on and a dealership offered him £4,500, it’s a Renault Clio, the people from the dealership came to check it over and ……it was still financed !
My son in law looked at his mobile number and from there they contacted him and told him ,at first he didn’t answer but after several messages he did when my daughter told him they’d put it on his FB page as his number led them to it, he’s a self employed builder and his wife was bemoaning the fact someone had pinched some tools from his van , yet more messages this time getting an answer, the upshot is he’s had to pay the finance company £2,600 to clear it………and just before Christmas as well , we’ll ,well, well ! Oh and thd dealership have contacted fraud too

My grandson wouldn’t have been liable in anyway for the finance but they would not be able to use it in part exchange for a better car with the dealership
