Car Seat Adjustment

Buying a new car but need the drivers seat adjusting on a roller bar. Is there a number I can ring please to make the adjustment. Thank you.

Can't drive car until I have had seat adjusted.

Can the dealership not show you how to do it? It’s usually fairly straightforward (pull on the bar under the seat and move it backwards or forwards)

Have a word with the dealer, or whoever you are buying the car from.

I would imagine that postman44 is wanting to have the seat positioned even further back than is possible using the normal seat adjuster:

I think I'd be considering a different car...one where this problem wasn't an issue.

I've seen ads for extended seat adjusters but mainly in the USA where folks are bigger!

If you're buying it new I'd get the dealer to get it done free as a condition of sale.

postman44, it does really seem that there is no such thing as a number to ring to have this adjustment made. It looks as if you will have to go back to the dealer for this problem to be sorted.
