I've Fallen In Love With A Used Car

It's a Toyota Aygo, but the boot is too small! It's perfect in costs for me to run, but what should I do? The main reason I want a newer car is because I need a bigger boot. Should I compromise, look for something a little bigger, or what? Also, people I have spoken to say Toyota is best!

With thanks from a puzzled novice!

If the boot is too small, it's not the right car for you. They are also very basic cars. There's plenty more fish in the sea.

Wow thank you, naomi24.  Any advice I get I take!  I didn't realise that with Peugeot's.

Same with Renaults.

What about Toyota's and Citroen's please, rowanwitch?

I'm saying that, Treacle, because I had a brand new Peugeot 307 when they first came out - the one with the retractable roof - lovely car but it cost stupid money to fix if anything went wrong.  I paid over £200 for one seat belt.  Mad!  Never again.  In your situation I'd plump for something cheap and easy on repairs - like a little Fiesta.  Cheap to run, cheap on tax, parts inexpensive and plentiful, and no main dealer garages needed for repairs.  I would buy from a main dealer though.  I think that's a lot safer.

Thank you, naomi24.  Very interesting to note.

One other thing with a Fiesta is the rear seats fold down to give extra boot space - which is what I think you said you want.
