write off car

Could someone please help me? i bought a second hand car and have just found out that it has been written off by the insurance company a year ago. I have just bought it and I love it you would not think it had been in an accident at all. I am not interested in selling it and what I want to know is how do I get this car insured. It is a relativley new car so its not like it is old. Any advice would be good. It was classed in a catogary C for the damage.
