my driveway is block paved. can i use gunk on this surface to remove diesel stains

Read the back of the tin but should be OK. Try a small area first. If the block paving is very porous you might end up merely spreading the stain and making things worse.

Have you tried scrubbing with hot soapy water and a strong detergent?
Gunk or Swarfega should loosen up the oil but for best results also pressure wash it. You will probably find you then have to do the whole lot as the cleaned area shows up the rest!
Had some oil spillage on red block drive. Tipped Jizer on it., no scrubbing or washing, just left it soaking in. Looked awful until it rained. Dissapeared, not a sign of where it had been.
