rover 25 indicator bulbs

how do you change the indicator bulbs - I dont have a manual and there appears to be no access from within the bonnet

I have a MGZR which shares the same Haynes manual as the Rover 25....basically you dont need to go in the bonnet, the lamp unit needs to be popped out from the front using a screwdriver....and I quote Chapter12 section 6 of the haynes manual


"carefully insert the screwdriver between the INBOARD end of the lens and bumper, so the blade fits behind the retainng spring. Move the screwdriver blade to compress the spring and remove the lamp unit from the bumper. Turn the bulbholder one quarter turn anticlockwise and remove it from the lamp unit. Push and turn the bulb to remove it, replace with a new one"


And I gather refitting is a reversal of the above. Hope that helps!! From Helen, Liverpool
