Does anyone know about how much it is to get a chip fixed in a windscreen? Can scratches also be fixed? And how do i find the kind of companies that do this? Or does the insurance company organise everything?

Repair before you replace

A chipped or damaged windscreen doesn't always mean you'll need a new replacement windscreen.

However, the longer you wait, the more likely it is that the chip will turn into a crack. Not only is this dangerous if it happens while you are driving, it also means you will need a replacement windscreen. Plus, chips in the driver's line of vision are an MOT failure point.

Like the copy and paste job :)

The whole window is scratched :(

If it is just scratched try a scratch repair it (off the net). I got one of these as I had a scratch on my windscreen made by the wipers and it worked wonders. The scratch completely went. Obviously it depends how bad the scratch is but for 21 it's worth a go. Try the link bellow - the company I got mine from.
