is it possible hide from the tracker fitted to the van that I have to drive , sometimes I would like a bit of private time

This question has already been asked, answers were all in the vein of shielding the tracker, if you know where it is using lead, silverfoil, etc.

I would have thought that although it might be possible to shield the tracker, that any company which has one fitted to a vehicle which regulaly loses the signal will soon make an investigation into how/why/where or even worse start following you around while monitoring the tracker to see what you are doing and if you are engaging in illegal activities when the tracker is ''off line''
