I had a Pioneer DAB car stereo 8 years ago. Most stereo manufacturers make them with DAB or DAB ready (meaning you need an add on). Most vehicle manufacturers now fit DAB stereos, or will as an extra cost option.

I have a Blaupunkt, great radio, please bear in mind that you will probably have to change the aerial also and they are not cheap to buy, about �70.worth it though. My local vauxhall dealer tells me that Sony have just bought out a new model which is excellent also plays MP3 and is wired up so you do not loose any of the original display on the modern cars.fully fitted I was quoted �350-375 top end of market DAB Radio MP3 player etc.

I think Skids is talking ********. DAB - 8 years ago ? ? ? It is only about 15 years since RDS came out !
