Can anyone tell me how often you should change a cam belt on a Rover 25. Cheers

Let me know the size of engine for an accurate answer

every 60k or 4 years which ever is sooner also replace the tensioner

Its a 1.6 engine

The official change point for this vehicle is 90k miles or 6 years. The 25's had an auto tensioner which allowed longer service life. 60K change was on the Manual tensioner type fitted to earlier 216 models

oh and also as thebhoy says make sure trhe tensioner is also replaced.

96,000 miles on any K-Series variant.


60,000 miles was on the old Honda engined Rover 216.
