A friend (no Really) bought a car with COMPLETE LOGBOOK ( PREVIOUS OWNER DID NOT FILL IT IN )without tax and parked it ouside my house for 3 weeks. In that time a gentleman !! from the DVLA arrived and was issuing a ticket on to the car, at which I said I would move it onto my drive, AT NO POINT DID I SAY IT WAS MY VEHICLE, I MERELY SAID I WOULD MOVE IT. Now I have received a summons for no tax on the car, SURELEY I am not liable as I am not the owner, as I said, I mereley said I would move it. Am I liable for the summons ?? Thanks in advance for any reply.
