car problem

my vectra 2 ltr tdi will not start , it started up ran a few minutes then cut out all of a sudden ,its got plenty of diesel in and was running fine before this has anyone any sugestions ?

Could be a loose connection on the electric stop/start solenoid on the fuel pump or blocked fuel line some where. Try changing the fuel filter and check the fuel pickup in the tank.

hi have you tried the lift pump if it is drawing air in it will stop working. undo bleed nut under pump a few turns and press the diaphram in and out and see if air escapes out of bleed valve. i had the same prob if not lift pump could be damaged fuel hose.
