I got a ford fiesta which head gasket needs changing, I need to get head skimmed. can anyone help where i can get this done?


and how much willl this skimming cost?

Any good motor engineers or garage will get this done for you, costs about �40. have a look in yellow pages.

Are you sure the head needs skimming? As far as I am aware if the head gasket has gone, and the engine has boiled, then you may need it. If you have a minor leak, then the head may not need skimming. A sensible garage will advise. Head skimming can be done at any engine builders, or good machine shop. Price deoends also on which part of the country you are.
