Is there a website where you can see if the cars that you used to own are still running or not in the country?

I don't think there is. Perhaps you could find out by trawling the owners clubs or forums for the make of car you are looking for.

Providing you know the registration, the RAC tell you date of the last change of keeper www.rac.co.uk then go to vehicle data search.

The DVLA has a part on their site where you can check by the reg number. If the tax is up to date it usually means its still on the road.
