vectra v6 2.5 not starting
the car was doing about 65mph when it just died, the starter was jammed but is now free. the battery on the fob was dead. could it be imobalised or could it be another fault if so what. i have replaced the fob battery and programmed it back in the car yet it still won't start no spark just tuns the engine over. please help

As far as I know the immobiliser on Vectras is handled by a chip in the key. The fob only does central locking and alarm if fitted.
If it is the immobiliser not registering your key the engine light would flash on and off in a regular fashion when the ignition is on. If the light flickers once then stays solidly on then the key has been passed.
