Looks hard work but you should find what you want there.

Good luck with it.

yeah the vespa is going cool at the moment thanks. I am just trying to get the thing registered here where I live in Luxembourg which has proven to be a bit of a nightmare with the local administration.

Oh god wish the DVLA were present everywhere!

Anyway thanks for the site, looks about what I am looking for. The next step is to buy myself a helmet so I can get out and about over easter weekend.

What tpye of helmet are the norm for scooters?

Hi,

I ride a Kawasaki KLE500 and use an open face helmet, large perspex visor pulls down.

Most sports bike riders use a full face helmet thats the one with the piece that comes across the chin under a small perspex visor.

You want the open face one, more comfortable and they are a lot cheaper than the other, anyway you would look like a prat with the full face one and riding a Scooter!

a friend of mine owned a 1960`s vespa.

he chose to get the side panels powder coated. gave his bike a nice look and finish. the rest of the frame took a fair bit of work to bring up to a reasonable finish, but the panels looked the buisness.
