17 for a motorbike, 16 for a moped
Whats that i heard today about instant access being raised to 26?

yeah.. they've been talking of raising it for a while. Personally i think its a good thing... bikes are ******* dangerous. I've been riding over 10 years and still get caught out by my 600 now and then.

Jammyjay if you're thinking of learning then i'd seriously seriously suggest sticking to something regular for the first 2 years min. If you're 16/17... def ride a 125 for a few years first too.

Definately, gain some real experience and watch other drivers even then you can NEVER take it for granted!!
