Also you are better off dealing with the dealership you went to as opposed to a head office, but by all means make head office aware of what is going on. Sadly they will usually send you straight back to the dealership you came from.
Explain what has happened and any half decent service manager will sort it out for you, but do make sure it is the same thing exactly that needs doing. Any main dealership will have a parts warranty and they should put the labour charge down to a Goodwill account as you have had a bad experience and it is not your fault. Good luck and let us know how you get on!
You need to get another MOT done and then report Kwik-fit to the MOT, then sue them for all your costs, this is a classic scam.
Many years ago when I was in the motor trade I used a regular MOT garage for all my work and was well known. I arranged for my girlfriend to drop off her Morris Traveller for an MOT test there. When she picked it up it had failed on tyres and the trunnion work I'd done 1000 miles before to pass the last MOT. There were very red faces all round when I brought it back but they wouldn't back down. It passed first time elsewhere.
