Mercedes remote key

Further to my earlier question of 25th April which might have sounded a tad vague - what I really meant was is there an alternative source other than main dealers that I could get a key from as I find the price from main dealers overly expensive.

Nope, you're stuck with it I'm affraid! My wife's Peugeot remote key cost �75. I guess the one you want is a bit more for a merc, but hey. If you don't want to spend the money, there is a cheaper alternative though it does involve inserting the key into the door and turning it!
