The side airbag light is on all the time on my 2001 Xantia HDi. Is it a sensor that needs replacing or the airbag itself. I just want to make the light go out.

i believe air bags should be changed/inspected every 10 years or so. sound more like an electrical problem than a physical problem. if it were my car, ide take it for a diagnostics check.
If you just want the light to go out then disconnect the electrical feed to the airbag.

its prob one of the sensors that are under the front seats bn knocked when movin the seat back n forward prob just needing put out by computer but get it checked anyway
