Honda Firestorm

Does anyone have a Honda Firestorm? I've wanted one for ages but the magazines keep banging on about how bad the tank range is and the fact that the front end isn't brilliant for hard riding. Would any owners like to give me their opinions?

A fella we know has one,he claims that it is the best thing EVER,that no other bike even comes close,he has no complaints about it!Its personal choice,I myself wouldn't entertain any honda,i'm a kwak gal,always have been,,,except for when a duke lands in my lap,,,i wish!!!

nearly every motorcycle on the road is so well desgined now that motorcycle magazines have to really nit-pick to find anything wrong with them!

My Kawasaki will only do 120 miles between top ups but I don't have a problem with that.

As for the front end not being brilliant, some tester probably nearly lost it whilst going too fast on a track and thats all he found wrong so he had to write about it.

It is probably perfect for normal fast road work.

I have a friend who rides a storm. He reckons 80-90 miles between fill ups. This figure is poor but well worth it so he says.
I also believe the front end is light and can skip along the ground during hard acceleration. If this is an issue test ride a TL thou, they are the opposite way round I hear. In any case neither bike could out perform my 1991 FZR1000 Exup at half the price. Whichever bike you choose I'm sure you'll be satisfied
