to make the long story short, my ex-freind, who only had a permit, drove right into another person the other day, and was hit from behind from another. i blacked out and didnt see the accident coming, but there was six of us in the car, and i was the only one with the license. after the crash, everyone told me to take the blame, but i was the only person "of age" in the car, and wasnt about to take the blame for something i didnt do, so i left.now the driver si threatening me, but i dont want to get involved. what should i do? will i get in trouble?

which advert, exactly, does this scenario feature in?
Are in the UK or somewhere else (you use the word 'permit', which made me wonder).

Under UK law, a learner driver (who should be over 17 with a provisional licence) should have a fully qualified driver in the car with them - I guess that would be you.

However, your friend was in charge of the car, not you, and it's him/her who will have to take responsibility for the incident.

Best thing you can do is explain to the police and/or courts exactly what happened as far as you can remember, including the bit about you blacking out. If you haven't already had medical treatment, go and get some, and then find a lawyer.

If you start lying to the police, they will find out, and you will be charged with hindering them and attempting to pervert the cause of justice.

As for loyalty to your friends - those who matter won't mind, and those who mind, don't matter.
you will only get into trouble if you start lying as saxyjag said, if you were merely a passenger then you have nothing to worry about. DO NOT TAKE THE BLAME! Trust me it is not worth, again as saxyjag has said, if they were your friends they would not ask you to say you were driving, and take it from someone who knows, a criminal record can seriously damage your life, dont risk getting one by lying x
