Rear-view mirror adhesive

I recently bought a well-known brand rear-view mirror to windscreen adhesive kit from Ha**o*ds for �3.99. I fouled up when using it so had to go to my local car spares shop when it opened the following morning to buy another. Guess what? The identical kit cost �1.99! A reasonable mark-up can be expected, but surely not 100%. Have any of you out there encountered similar.

I found my local branch of Autoglass very helpful. They stuck my mirror on free.

yep with halfords as well. they relly do rip you off big time there, BUT i was looking around for a radiator one time and i'm in the motor trade and so get trade prices on everything and the cheapest i could find one was �110 tried halfords and they said �65 which is nearlyhalf the price so i guess it works both ways and they ordered it in for the next day,
