Does anybody know if crownwheel and pinion from another British Leyland vehicle will fit, giving a final drive ratio higher than 3.7:1? Any help or sources of information greatly appreciated.

1275 or 1500?
A40{farina} a35,moggie minor,marina 1300 will fit 1275s, but I think the 1500 used a different axle case.
