Worst drivers?
Who are the worst drivers?
4x4 mums on school runs, Volvo drivers, Rover drivers, White Van men, or BMW 3-Series drivers?
Personally, I think the WVM drive like that on puropse, whilst the others do it cos they can't drive any other way.

*Some* 4x4 mums seem to have no parking skills, that's for sure. They frequently block the road near where i live just so they can take their ONE child to the school gate and stand and chat to the other mums... grrr...
And flipping taxi drivers do the same. Why beep and then block the road while waiting for someone...???? Pull up and f**king park and let the rest of us get on with our journey.
...And BMW/WVM drivers all seem to park with their wheels on the pavement...
Ok, so it's clearly a parking issue i have going on here...!
Sorry - i rarely venture into Motoring, but this is one of my irritations.

BMW drivers are just annoying little sadsacks. White van men are basically OK. Rover drivers, too, are irksome creatures - "I've been driving all these years, I should think I know what I'm doing by now!"
So of the ones you state, Bob, it has to 4x4 mums and Volvo drivers. In my experience, these come in the same category - I'm alright, Jack, you go shove it!
But in my opinion, the very, very, VERY worst type are bus drivers. You know that Mirror, Signal, Manoevre thing we're all taught? Yeah? Well I reckon bus drivers are taught, "Manouevre", "Signal if you feel like it", and "Mirror? What mirror?"
And as for the whole 'give way when turning right' thing - do they actually know the difference between right and left?

Every other road user apart from me is at fault as Im a perfect driver and never take risks or speed or cut people up. Oh hang on a minute no Im not. At the end of the day at some point somebody will annoy you on the road but the trick is to just let them get on with it and think to yourself what an idiot and go about your day. I drive for a living and I see all sorts of stupid people on the roads but when you concentrate too much on what they are doing then youre not paying attention to what you are doing and that makes you as bad as them.
Excellent answer from Deore. It's nothing to do with which sort of car you drive. Generally, in Glasgow bus drivers are very good although I'm not so keen on taxi drivers. There are lots of good drivers around but there also seems to be a large number of numpties who do (at least) one of the following:
Don't indicate
Don't use dipped headlights
Stick to the middle lane of motorway
Drive up your @rse
I could go on but I wont
I know what you mean bob but I don't think it's as simple as that.

Lorry drivers, without any shadow of a doubt. Especially the ones who HAVE to overtake the lorry in front, even if they can only do 1mph faster up a three mile hill on the motorway. They are inconsiderate beyond belief. They also take absolutely no account of the fact that their vehicle needs over twice the stopping distance of a car.
