ford mondeo 1.8td 1997 brake fluid leek

there is brake fluid leeking down the offside of the fuel tank i think this is a comon fault that the brake pipe that runs over the top of the fuel tank rusts is this a hard job to fix would i have to take out the fuel tank to fix this

No you can do this without removing the tank, but it can be difficult to access the joints on the brakepipe.replace both pipes front to back as you probably wont be able to see which one is leaking anyway.When replacing the brakepipes they dont have to be routed over the fuel tank. Job should take no more than 2 hrs.
