Noisy Dashboard

My Subaru Legacy GX makes a whining sound behind the dashboard when i go over 60mph. This is the second one that i have had and they have both done this and i was wondering if there is a remedy as it is really bloody irritating. It seems to be worse when it is windy if that is any help. Cheers.

To fix this problem it mabe worth trying you local windsceen repairers, rather than the expensive main dealers, as i suspect it may be the seal at the bottom of your screen.

But having not heard the noise.. its only a guess :)

Did you ever see top gear with the ferrari spaghetti or what ever its called?
Well clarkson was driving it and couldnt work out where the noise was comming from inside the car, but then he realised it was the windscreen wiper.
Usually the sound is opposite to what you think.

I'd have said the speedo cable, but that wouldn't be affected by the wind ...
