Should i stay away from buying a used car with a grunty engine. i.e used corsa active 1.0 litre 47,000 miles 3yrs old. It performed fine on a test drive. Its been serviced annually. What kinda questions should i be asking the dealership??

what do you mean, grunty engine.if you are buying from a dealer, make sure you get a 12 months warranty on it.
I was confused by that too, I am used to the term 'grunty' meaning powerful, which a 1.0l Corsa definately is not!
1 would stay away from a 1 ltr corsa altogether they are *****. trust me for the last 5 years all ive done is repair them for engine management faults. for instance a mass air flow meter is 280 quid from vauxhall !!!
