The focus fells "better built" but it can be down to personal preference.

Most people seem to agree that although the newer Astras are much better than earlier ones, the Focus is still the class leader in terms of driving pleasure and involvement. There is not much to choose between them for build quality, and the Focus has a better interior, so if it was me, I would plump for the Ford every time.
