canal boat????
Never really knew where to post this, but, does anyone know if your on a canal boat can you drink and erm.....steer??? Silly question i know but its smething ive always wondered. I live near a pub, on the side of a canal and everyone that goes in there, comes out looking merry.....lol!!! Do they have a drunken driving policy?

How stringently it is applied, and what the definition of 'drunk' is, I don't know.
I have had many holidays on the Norfolk Broads and seen a lot of very merry people steering their boats. The Police only seem to get involved if the behaviour is an obvious danger or disturbance.

monster, there are river plod on the broads!! and they have speed guns!!!
