Central locking?

I have a P reg fiesta, would it be easy to fit central locking myself (well my father to do) or would it be expensive to get a garage to do it?

Are there specific kits for different cars? Thanks

probably best to fit an alarm that comes complete with actuators(that operate door catches), should be quite easy.

I fitted a sparkright alarm and central locking kit from Halfords, took about 2 hours to fit following the instructions, quite easy.
