it should be doing more then that, when was the last time you had a service on it.
Its usually 10 to a 100 miles but it all depends how fast your driving.
If your doing 50-60 mph up and down the gears on small country roads then you will use alot more, so it swings and roundabouts.
But where on earth are you doing 100 miles a day lol.
As norman says it may need a good service or not so heavy lead foot.
When you say you only drive on small roads and a few A roads, if you are driving around the lanes all the time, that is where your fuel is going, probably a lot of stop starting in low gears hard cornering, and braking, accelerating etc very uneconomical indeed.
i have a corsa 1.2 and do about 300 miles on a tank of fuel (33)ish. I think you need a service or check whether you have a fuel leak somewhere.
mine btw is an elderly M reg and it can do 42 mpg. and i live in the middle of nowhere which is all rural.
For comparison if you have a newer version, I have a '03 1.2 Corsa. A full tank does about 330 miles driving a mixture of motorway & rural roads.
