Ipurchased a boxster the other week and Imust say Iam impressed .Granted itis like a go-cart but does it shift it's awsome..Anyone ekse rate them?

Good value for their money,but I think if was spending 35 grand, I would prefer a used TVR,probably not as reliable though

I think the old, original 2.5 engined version was too slow to be worthy of the marque, but the 2.7 is a great car., definately not a poor mans 911, as the two cars are very different. The 3.2 S is a lot more expensive, not sure if its worth the extra.

But Normie baby there is no comparison between the Boxter and the 911 hon. They are just soooooo different. The noise and vibration from the boxter are irritating ( to ME ) after the first couple of hours. Give ME a 911 everytime. That said I do hope that bloaterbum really enjoys their new car in rude health. You go sweetie!

sense4all,yes i do know,i own a 51 plate 911 and i did test drive a couple of boxsters,the s was the best.but i think i will keep the 911,it is great fun,lets hope you enjoy it bloaterbum.

If I had the choice I would have a 911...I too have heard the Boxster described as the 'Porsche for girls' (I have a very nice female friend with one, but I am still offended).

However, I do admit to being slightly envious...but still delighted for bloaterbum, of course. Heck, I'd buy a Porsche if I had the money..and wouldn't mind showing it off either. Isn't that what the car is for?

Heck, it's all I can do to get into my poxy 4x4 every day.....

It makes me sick when someone says oh look at my porsche . does it make your **** bigger?
well what about all the people with no arms and legs , all the people who cant afford to live, and what about all the rich dick heads who are living beyond their means.
I hope someone shows you one day the meaning of money because you obviously have sooo much to throw around.
