I am having no luck in getting the built-in garage door opener to set to operate my door. I am following the instructions in the user manual.

Any ideas?

Do you have an electric garage door, it may not open a manual one? ... lol

A built in garage door opener? Whatever next, these crafty Japs think of everything? The only thing they dont think of is that your code to open your door may not be the code coming from your cars gizmo, or it's designed for a different system. Have you checked to see if any of your neighbours doors are opening as you push your button?
