I find it confusing at those small islands we see in some urban areas.
As you approach them it seems that on some you dont have the right of way over the left entrance.
So where can i find out THE FACTS
Cant see much in highway code.....thanks guys/gals

Let's get the facts first. Do you mean an mini roundabaout ?
I think this is what you mean:

http://www.2pass.co.uk/roundabout.htm
See sections 162 & 164-166 of the Highway Code. ' 'Approach these ( Mini-roundabouts) in the same way as normal roundabouts.' In other words the rule of Priority from the Rght applies. That is assuming that you do actually mean mini-roundabouts and not traffic islands !

Oh, and remember to drive around them and not over them as most people do. Unless, of course, you are in a large vehicle ' which is physically unable to do so.'
As above, treat them the same as a big roundabout. There is no such thing as "Right of way" , the highway code however suggests when you should give way. In the case of roundabouts that is to the right, so anyone on your left should give way to you.
