Childrens seats - new law

My wife told me that there is a requirement for any child under 135 centimetres to be in a booster seat, I told her that this cannot be as there are adults that size.
Is she right? Thanks.

it is 135cm or 12 years whichever comes first. which seemed a bit silly but i suppose you can't expect short adults to sit in a child car seat even if it is safer for them
lol o8sp... why not make short adults sit in a child seat?
