Do people largely ignore rules regarding yellow box junctions?
7 Answers
Or am I just imagining it? It certainly seems to me nowadays that drivers don't seem bothered about keeping them clear. I now regularly see, or am caught up in, tailbacks caused by drivers who end up stuck in the middle of the box junctions.
Someone told me there are camera traps for this but is this true?

These idiots clearly don't know the rules regarding Box Junctions. At all the Box Junctions I have seen there are cameras but I don't know if any of them work or are just there for show.

As mdoo98 reads postings on motoring, I asume you are a motorist. If so, why do you need ask "what are the rules on a yellow box"
Most problems at box junctions are caused by driver igorance.
All rules regarding box junctions are clearly stated in the Highway Code.
In all honesty, how many of you drivers have read the Highway Code within the last year?

No, not many drivers ignore the rules, they don't even know the rules.
