Nissan Almera.......any opinions?

My wife is looking at an "X" reg Almera with 42K miles on the clock and an asking price of �2700.
Is this reasonable and what views do others have on the Almera?

I've had a '96 N for about 19 months.
in that time, I've had to replace the brakes, exhaust and a shock (had done 85,000, now nearly 100,000) and now need a new sump
Never had a problem with engine reliability though.

Sounds a reasonable deal. Make sure you HPI check it and look at previous MoT's and service book to verify the mileage as it is below average for the year.
