Does anybody know which companies operate this policy? I used to be with Hastings and could drive any other car third party. I've just had a quote from them and they have taken this luxury off. Which other companies offer it?

Thanks.

There seems to be a bit of a trend towards this recently. I can't find it at the moment but someone was on a month or so who had had an accident without realising this had been removed from his policy and that he was uninsured.

Have you asked your insurer whether they now offer this at additional cost? My policy has this for an additional 30.

If so you obviously want to take it into consideration when comparing quotes
I'm 3rd P,F&T on my policy, and this allows me to drive other cars with just 3rd party cover - Tescos.
I'm with First Alternative, and I am insured to drive other cars Third Party, at no extra charge
Kwik-Fit act as a broker, rather than directly as insurance company, but my policy through them (which is actually under-written by Provident) still includes 'any vehicle' 3rd party cover.

Kwik-Fit always seem to offer me the best quotes, so it might be worth giving them a call: 0800 027 2796.
