how can i tell if i have abs brakes on my mk 4 fiesta1996 model 1.25

i would think not,have you got a abs light on your dash when you turn your ignition on.

Bomb down the steepest hill that you can find, Look for a wet patch - Hit the brakes and if you are still alive the answer is YES

Don't go flat out downhill to try it!

Find a deserted car park, with a wet surface,drive in reverse get up to a few mph and then apply the brakes hard, if you have ABS you will feel the brake pedal vibrate and hear the ABS ticking.

or you could take the easy option by lifting the bonnet and looking for an abs pump.
