Securing Wheel Trims

I recently had all four of my wheel trims stolen. I have now had them replaced and have had plastic cable ties put on them, but surely the sort of ******s who go around stealing from other people are likely to carry some kind of knife and would be able to cut through the plastic cable ties in no time.
Would I be able to buy some sort of metal cable ties? If so, where would I buy them from?
Thanks.

What an odd thing to steal?

Anyway, I think most hardware stores will actually stock and supply stainless steel cable ties.

There are some websites that sell these but they're in batches of 100 or so.

The only thing is that I think these are probably just as easy to cut as the plastic versions.
It would be hard to make them secure, perhaps you could use jubilee clips with the securing screws behind the wheel though they would be difficult to fit, you would need to fit two opposite each other so as not to loose the wheel balance. I think to remove them quickly would damage the wheel trims so making them useless to any thief .
I bought bolt on aluminium wheel trims, they are fantastic, easy to fit, secure but also look great .

You cannot see the fixings.

They are also flush fitting which means they are difficult to damage (kerb).
