VW golf Mk2 Dashboard speakers

Can anyone please tell me what size the speakers in the dashboard of my MK2 Golf 1.3 are -They weren't factory fitted but they are very small..

Not 2" tweeters as such but the size thing is driving me mad.

Any ideas of where I can get good ones cheap? The left one has blown and it sounds terrible & needs to be replaced asap!!!

I had the same problem with my mk2 gti mate. There a pain in the arse to get out by the way so you might as well disconnect them and rig up a set in your door cards. The dash speakers were really crap to be honest. You can get door pods for the goof at any scrappy for a couple of quid.
