im interested in buying this sat nav for my son but am concerned that his car may be broken into if the windscreen mounting is visable is this so or can anyone recommend another system?

that is a problem.
they are attached via a suction pad. Police recommend you don't leave this attached to the windscreen, and wipe away any residual marks on the inside of the glass.

thanks ugly bob what a sad name, im sure your not ugly!that has reassured me that they are on a removable suction pad so will go ahead many thanks
I keep my suction pad attachment in my car but don't leave my Sat nav in there.
Just leave a gun on the dash board lol. Or a big scary dog in the car lol.
