vauxhall omega 2.5 v6 oil leak

i have a vaxhall omega 2.5 v6 petrol its p reg and there is this oil leak coming from beside the cylinder head and its dripping onto the exhaust headers and causing lots of smoke when the car is stationary.

where is the leak coming from?

hi, i had the same problem, it's leaking from the cam covers, the gaskets are made of rubber and get brittle with age then start to weep. i replaced them my self with the help of a workshop manual, not an easy job and the gaskets are around �40. i dread to think how much a garage would charge.
